Help! Anniversary cakes at a reasonable price?

  • v

Does anyone know of good cake place, preferable in North York/uptown area that makes pretty anniversary cakes? At a very reasonable price??

  1. I used to go to Maxim's, on Finch Avenue, just west of Leslie, a small strip mall on the north side of Finch. They have a good variety of cake in 6 - 12 inch sizes. I don't know if they do special order for much bigger cakes.

    1. Arz Bakery is on Lawrence East of Victoria Park. Look them up in the phone book.

They consistently produce interesting cakes. It's a Middle Eastern bakery that makes delicious and beautiful cakes and pastries. The baker is French trained.

      1. Try one of the community colleges like Humber College or George Brown College. They both have good culinary arts programs, and they sell the students' stuff at excellent prices. George Brown, I know, sells baked goods daily. You might see if you can special order cakes.
