i know all you can eat doesn't usually equal great food - but hoping someone can help think of a few suggestions?

mostly chinese, but also western and japanese food too. The at lunch time they have some dim sum too, and it's about $11 I think. Still haven't gone for dinner, but they have steaks and peking duck, and it's about $18.

over all 3 1/2 (close to 4) out of 5 stars, better than Mandarin (not as salty and greasy), and the place is nicer, more open but less intimate.

Mandarin-various locations-best all round buffet I've ever been defeated by. Well worth the cost, see for yourself: www.mandarinbuffet.com

Try China Buffet King (Warden/401; Yonge/Major MacKenzie area) which caters to a more "chinese" crowd than Mandarin - the food at both chains reflect their respective clientele. Judging by the high numbers of Chinese patrons, China Buffet King must be doing something right. Highlights include Peking duck and a decent sushi bar.

Please see my Chowpuppy sites note of 29JAN04, which refers to three buffets.

I don't know if I can succeed with the URL link below.
