Winterlicious: Pangaea Lunch

I've always wanted to go to Pangaea as I've heard good things about it- but I was a bit apprehensive because I read an earlier review from this board that the service was poor...
We were seated promptly, and I ordered from the Winterlicious lunch menu, with the soup as the appetizer and the lamb shank as the entree. The soup was a butternut squash with some other flavours, very nice if a little indistinct. The lamb shank was cooked fine, with the meat still firm but sliding off the bone easily. The meat however, could use more flavour yet the surrounding barley with the stilton cheese was a bit too strong. All in all, not bad but I probably wouldn't order it again. Finally the desert was a rice pudding, firm with a blackberry preserve, quite good.
Service was fine, fairly attentive and courteuous but it IS a bit rushed, as we recieved the bill halfway through desert. I didn't mind much though, as I didn't have that much time for the meal either.
All in all, I would say it's 'Fine'. Both the food and the service could be excellent if for the things mentioned, so it was an altogether positive experience.
