Winterlicious - Courthouse Market Grill - Lunch

On Friday, Jan. 30, a group of nine of us from work had a $10 Winterlicious lunch at the Courthouse Market Grill on Adelaide. Our reservation was for noon and when we arrived, we were seated promptly. For $10, here's what was included:
Appetizer - choice of mixed green salad with vinaigrette or a bowl of butternut soup
Main - Salmon filet in a bowl of potato and clam chowder or penne in a gorgonzola cream sauce with chicken
Dessert - Bread pudding
The mixed green salad was fresh but could have used more dressing - My colleagues enjoyed the soup and its accompanying crostini.
I had the pasta. The portion size was enough to satisfy, the pasta was cooked al dente, and came in a bowl. I'm a little cautious when ordering pasta with gorgonzola, but this pasta had just the right amount - Although it was an odd combination, my colleagues enjoyed the salmon with the potato clam chowder -
The bread pudding dessert was a small piece - about the size of a deck of cards - but enough to satisfy me for lunch - Service throughout our meal was prompt and attentive - and who could beat $10. This was my first time at the Courthouse and I enjoyed it and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere -
Would I go again for Winterlicious? For sure.
Would I go again after Winterlicious? Probably. I think it would be a nice place to go for lunch.
