I'm planning to visit Toronto in February and I hear that Toronto has the best bubble tea around. Can anyone give me the names of any good bubble tea shops or sites (if they have them) so that I can check them out before I go? Thanks a lot

Try Tea Shop 168. It's a franchise with many locations in Toronto.

a) downtown: 377 Yonge Street (near Dundas)
b) Markham/Richmond Hill: 505 Hwy 7 East, Unit 96 ,97

You might want to try going to Pacific Mall as well......many Chinese stores indoors (perfect for this time).....http://www.pacificmalltoronto.com/en/
They also have a Tea Shop 168 location

I recommend also trying an "ice slush"....pineapple flavor with coconut jelly (instead of the tapioca)

The location they have on Silver Star Blvd. is gorgeous!

Ten Ren's Tea House is good, too.

Yes, Goober's right!

Pacific Mall would be a great place - plus it's Chinese New Year's next week.

P-Mall (as we affectionally call it) has:
- Tea Shop 168
- Ten Ren's
- Destiny

Have fun!

Gong Xi Fa Chai =)

i love destiny!! the atmos is great, and the food is really good too. try their spicy noodles. it's very spicy! the tea drinks are great there, maybe a bit expensive at $6-$8 a drink but they have a huge variety of flavors and they use real fruit and juices for ingredients.

I'm wondering if there are any that use real ingredients such as red beans rather than the flavored powder. I've seen fresh fruit, which I would expect... IMO, it would be wrong to use tang or some other mix to simulate fruit.

try Bubble Tease. Various locations. (Eaton Centre North Food Court, Bloor/Spadina, Commerce Court, Fairview Mall, etc) They use real fruit, in fact they blend it with ice. Tell them to lay off on the sugar, because sometimes it's a bit too sweet. I still prefer Tenren's. And my Favorite is the green forest or something like that at Market Village (Kennedy/Steeles), which is next to Satay Rio.
