Me Va Me

Pass by this place all the time (northwest corner of Bathurst and Steeles). Finally tried the shwarma dinner which included chicken shwarma, 2 pitas, a large garden salad, and choice of rice/potatos/something else (had the rice). Very large portions for under $10+tax

The salad was pretty fresh, but the rice and shwarma were dry and stale.

I saw them take the pitas out of a bread bag....I don't know if these are made locally or not, but damn they were very fresh and very tasty.

If I recall correctly their pitas are made by Pita-Pita Bakery, literally around the corner from Me Va Me. I have bought from them directly before, the Pitas freeze extremely well and last for months in the freezer.

I love Me Va Me and agree the hummus is amazing, the portions are huge and inexpensive.

I just went there to try it out since a friend of mine suggested it...what can I say?...the service was AMAZING!, and food was excellent, plus it's a lot of food for one person under the very convenient price of 12 or so bucks. Go try it out...it's worth it!

I totally agree the baba ghanouj is to die for. I order the platter every time we go and the prices at Me Va Me is very reasonable. I give it a two thumbs up!
