cooking classes - Calphalon

  • m

Has anyone tried the classes at Calphalon at Bathurst and Spadina. They seem pricey and I'm concerned that they may just be a way of selling their kitchen stuff.

Any comments?

  1. The prices are standard to other cooking schools so I wouldn't worry. I've been looking into a bunch of cooking schools in Toronto and the hands on classes are all around $110 each. If you still want to shop around, check out Dish and the Great Cooks cooking school. It's located underneath the Bay at Yonge and there's one in Missisauga. I've never been to either but they look great!

    1. My Place For Dinner cooking school has hands-on cooking classes that are cheaper than the other cooking schools. They are $80/ class and you can organize your own group or join a scheduled class in Thai, Sushi, Italian, Moroccan, Mexican, etc.
