A friend and I went to the Peach Garden restaurant located in the "Chinatown" complex in Mississaug on Dundas st. , west of Dixie.

We ordered fresh spring rolls, a hot & sour seafood soup and an assorted meat and seafood soup.

We got 2 plump fresh spring rolls filled with shrimp and pork. The accompanying peanut sauce was terrific. Our soups came and we were blown away. The hot and sour soup was salty, sour and hot with lots of rice noodles. The assorted meat and seafood soup had a great beef broth and two types of noodles. Tea as usual was free.

We paid approx. $34 for the whole meal with 2 Tsing Tao beers.

I will recommend this place for its soup especially if you are feeling blue because of the weather or have a cold/flu. There is also an enclosed smoking section inside the restaurant.

  1. Hi Leah,

My family and I often go to the Peach Garden on Carlton St, just east of Yonge. We've been going since it opened and we haven't been disappointed yet. We always get the appetizer platter and the bean curd wrapped shrimp. As well, I enjoy the vermicelli bowls and hubby experiments with the main course dishes with rice. My 4 year old absolutely loves coming here! There's never been a visit where we haven't ordered the mango shake and the avocado shake.
