Does anyone know where I might be able to get my hands on some fresh figs this time of year? Thank you kindly.

You can also find them at the fruit and vegetable place in the bottom of the St. Lawrence Market (I've had a couple from there in the last week, they're very good).

Lady York at Dufferin and Glencairn caters to everything Italian and would no doubt have them. While there, you should check out City Fish a few doors down.

I saw some yesterday at one of the fruit markets onm Yonge, about 4 blocks north of Davisville, near La Salumeria.
        Also Whole Foods.

Fortinos. Even Loblaws usually has some, though I wouldn't attest to freshness, (check for firmness and that drop of tacky or hard crystallized sugar at the base or the tip).
