Best restaurants in Yorkville

We have family here from England, and they want to go out to eat in the Yorkville area. It doesn't matter if it's somewhat expensive as long as I don't have to promise them my firstborn child to pay for the dinner! One of our guests is a restaurant owner, so he is a real foodie type and is looking for new (hip/interesting) ideas. Recommendations?

We had a surprisingly good meal at Pangaea on Bay St. last summer. I say surprisingly only because we wandered in without any idea what to expect, and were delighted with the food and wine we had. I'm not sure I would rate it 4 stars, but it was a very nice meal.
