In the US Midwest, many ice cream places sell frozen soft-serve custard. Are there any such places in the GTA?

  1. Both Buffalo (Anderson's) and Rochester, NY (Abbott's)are almost as much of a hotbed for frozen custard as are Milwaukee. I don't think Toronto shares this obsession.

    1. I know this is a stupid question but what's the difference between frozen custard and ice cream? I always thought ice cream was frozen custard.

Do frozen soft serve custards come in different flavours?

      Thanks kindly.

Frozen custard is made from egg whites, so it's richer that ice cream. The flavours I've tried are chocolate with pecans and vanilla with hazelnuts.

I think you mean frozen custard is made with egg YOLKS, otherwise, it doesn't make sense for it to be richer than ice cream if it's made with egg whites.
