Neighborhood Italian

Last night, once again we stopped by Olympic Pizza (on the north side of Gloucester 3 doors east of Yonge) for 'Italian.' The favoured dish here is an outstanding Panzarotti, and their pizza is excellent, but my personal preference is spaghetti and meatballs which comes with a large salad that can be 'upgraded' for 75 cents to a greek or caesar. The servings are LARGE and spaghetti & meatballs are a modest $8.99. The air-conditioned dining room is tastefully elegant but informal. The front patio overlooks quiet, tree lined Gloucester and is humming with conversation and good food by 8:00pm. Highly recommended.

  1. Is this the same Olympic Pizza that used to be on the south side of one of those streets in that neighbbourhood near Yonge? I'm talking about 10-15 years ago. I loved that place and when I went to go back to it, it was gone. I didn't know it had moved.

The very same. It moved across Gloucester Street for more space. Food just as good. Welcome back. --DVR
