Phil's Original BBQ -- great pulled pork

Last week, I didn't feel like cooking, and thus took my 9-year-old and 11-year-old sons out for barbeque. (I had suggested vegetarian options, but they still appear to be at an age that appreciate meat).
After some consideration, I decided to try Phil's Original BBQ. This had been written up as the original branch of Dipamo's, but the name was changed when Phil had some differences. (Actually, my Visa receipt still says Dipamo's).
Thus turned out to be a great choice for the kids (who have had pulled pork in northern Florida). I ordered a pulled pork sandwich, a bbq chicken sandwich (both with fries), and a pulled pork plate (with brown beans and cole slaw).
The pulled pork was great. The barbeque chicken -- chunks with then the same sauce as the pulled pork -- was good, but everyone agreed the pulled pork was the best. The sandwiches came on kaisers, and the plate came with bread (a non-crusty crust type) on the side. The beans were okay (not as great as restaurant reviewers would suggest) and the cole slaw I thought had too much pepper in it.
The sandwiches were $6.95, and the pulled pork plate $10.95. Next time, I would order all sandwiches, because the kaisers are better than the bread. My youngest son didn't like the thick-cut fries, where I thought were okay for its type, but I think I agree that I prefer McDonald's shoestrings. I might consider ordering the beans as a side dish, but would skip the cole slaw.
Of course, I'll probably need to eat extra greens at the following meal, to make up for the lack of vegetables!
All in all, a good family meal in a casual setting. We had to wait 10 minutes for a table (at 6:30 p.m.), and there was only one waitress and one busboy, but they were pretty efficient.
