Sat May 31 15:06:27 -0700 2003 0 German Shepherd 1 536927 I've seen white asparagus in NUMEROUS supermarkets in the past 2 weeks...Pusateri's, Longo's on York Mills/Leslie, Loblaw's Queen's Quay, and St. Lawrence Market. Call ahead to just confirm they still have them, but like I said, I've been to all these places in the last 2 weeks and have seen them there. It was 5.99 a pound.I boiled it for 4 mins with salt, then put lemon rind, lemon juice, garlic and butter in a fry pan and sauteed for 3 mins. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve.
