Mm... hummus!

we just had amazing homemade hummus from Zorba's (danforth just east of pape) last night. so garlicky that it blew the top off my head!

two thumbs up.

    But seriously, is Zorba's still open 24 hours?

      Try the koukoretsi at Zorba's. If you're brave enough.
      It's sheep intestines wrapped in liver, and although it sounds disgusting, it's actually quite good.
      Can't wait until Taste of the Danforth...

        yes indeed zorba's is still open around the clock.

        or, rather, they're always open in the middle of the night. i assume they're open during the day, too.

        i think i'll pass on the koukoretsi... i dislike the taste of liver, and the idea of eating intestines bothers me greatly. thanks for the tip though!

          i'd like to challenge a haggis-eater to try this koukoretsi. sounds....fortifying...

          i went to the taste of the danforth last year and didn't see anything zany like koukoretsi. it's a fun event, but the food offerings are pretty standard.
