Eats at Bayview Mall

While shopping at Bayview mall wife and I decided to give Olivers and Boccino (?) a try, it was around 4pm, between Lunch and Dinner time, not too many diners, anyway I had the provimi liver,( 2 large pieces) Wife had a chicken and salad plate, both quite tasty, We dont usually spend $40 odd dollars for a casual snack but we both decided it was good value

Is that the Bayview and Sheppard mall? I love the Senses outlet there, the pear tart is excellent.

I've tried almost everything at Sen5es and I don't like the way they did the pear :)

Maybe it was just mine, but the pear tasted canned. It was disgusting.

Their cake/tart base is always good though.

I'd give the tarts another try, I've never had one where the pears seemed canned. I'm guessing you mean that odd grainy texture.

Oliver and Bonacini. They have a family of restaurants. Check out the website.

I highly recommend Auberge du Pommier. They have slightly higher prices.

I highly advise AGAINST Oliver Bonacini at Bayview. This review echoes my sentiments exactly on the food they're serving:

        Uninspired, expensive, and ill-prepared.
