Being of Chinese decent, Toronto has some very fine and authentic buffet restaurants to offer, as well as a growing number of quality Japanese buffets as well.

A favourite that i would enjoy would be ORIENTAL FEAST on victoria park, south of steeles.. However with the SARS crisis, they took advantage of the slow business and closed town for renovation.

With Mother's Day coming up, i would like to treat my mom to some variety that INCLUDES all you can eat PEIKING DUCK!!!

Does anyone know of any?

thanks
andrew.

  1. Yeah, I know this is tourist food, but I've had all-you-can-eat duck and the accompanying scallion pancakes at China Buffet King - I'm not sure if that counts as serious Peking Duck, but the duck was pretty good.

Oriental Feast, eh? Large selection? Authentic? If you tell me that it's worth the drive to Victoria Park & Steeles, I'll drag my parents there.

      It is worth the drive.

There's another Oriental Feast at Markham and Ellesmere. I think it's either closed permanently or closed for renovations too.

I don't like the quality of this location anyways. Vic Park is muc better.

def worth the drive.. its quality is very fresh.. and diversity beyond compare at a price under 17$/person
