The T (Tea?) Spot
I went to The T (or is it Tea?) Spot (located on the lower level of the Bay on Queen Street) for lunch today and had probably one of the best salads I have ever eaten in my life - baby spinach, grilled pears, candied pecans and parmesan cheese in a light vinaigrette. I also had their Mango and Avocado salad a few weeks ago. It's a bit expensive ($5.95 for a smallish salad) but it is so good that it makes you forget the price. I haven't had any of their other food. Has anyone else been there? Has anyone tried their tortas?

I tried the Goat Cheese tart today... with a wonderful mixed baby greens salad with portobello mushroom. They were offering a complimentary sample of a loose leaf green tea..MMMmmm... Under 10 bucks... not bad
The tart was deeeeeeeelicious...with sundried tomato and a hint of prune.. -

I have been there, and I must admit the food is really very good. I tend to get the goat cheese tora with carmelized onion and then just whatever salad looks good. Their salads are great especially since they tend to be really fresh. Overall a great spot for downtowners who want something better than your basic food court stuff!
I must admit I love the take away containers that they use since they are all reusable.
