St. Lawrence Market "BBQ Cookoff" event in June

I remember that someone was asking about this event on this board last year, so I thought I'd post this...
I just read in a community paper that the annual "BBQ Cookoff" event on Front Street East (in front of St. Lawrence Market) will take place from June 13th to 15th this year. I didn't attend last year, but I happened to drive by, and it sure smelled awesome! Apparently there are a bunch of BBQ teams from across North America competing for awards, and you get to buy and taste samples.
I also see that there's something called the "Craft Beer Show" happening simultaneously in the same spot. Apparently you can sample a bunch of "Ontario Craft Beers" from about a dozen Ontario microbreweries.
Well I went last year and can attest to the fact that it's a great event. My favourite ribs were from a guy from Jupiter, Florida. Ask for extra sauce.
My recommendation beer-wise is to hit the Scoth-Irish booth and try their Sgt Major's IPA (68 IBU's!). With luck, Perry will also be serving up his new and excellently-named Corporal Punishment, which is described as a "bitter Scotch Ale," and from the sounds of it could have even more IBU's of bitterness.
Thanks for the notice. I am hoping to make it to this event. Most of the BBQ information in the Toronto papers seems to be about how good it is elsewhere as per the link below.
So far I have found that BBQed food (as in smoked) available in Toronto to be a real disappointment.
