I've always wanted to go to a fancy restaurant. No particular reason....just cause.
What's a fancy restaurant? To me, it must have:
*washroom with amenities: cotton towels, mouthwash, mints, hairspray, etc.
What restaurants in Toronto have these features?
p.s. the nicest i've been to is Emeril's in Orlando, FL. It had one sweet washroom. But no attendant, damnit! haha :)
I remember dining at Scaramouche way back when it first opened. It had valet parking then. I don't know if they still do.
I don't think they had any special "bathroom" facilities as you've outlined though.
Valet parking is available at many (most) of Toronto's high end restaurants eg. Splendido, Scaramouche, North 44, Centro, Truffles, Canoe, etc.
Some places have bathroom amenities such as cloth towels, mints etc. One of the "fanciest" bathrooms I recall is at the Four Seasons (Truffles restaurant). There are some "cool" modern bathrooms (not too many amenities, though) at Bymark and Susur.
I have yet to see a bathroom attendant in a Toronto restaurant. I don't think they would be too popular here - we Canadians tend to be uncomfortable with them when we travel abroad. Why are they there? What is their purpose? Are you supposed to tip and if so how much? I guess we are just very private. So you may have to forgo that part of your "fancy" experience in this city.
