Always drive by but never ate there. Any reviews from those who have been there?
It's the best restaurant in town, that's for sure. We've enjoyed eating and/or drinking there on many occasions. Cool space, attentive staff, terrific wine list. There's some older discussion of the place on this Board (e.g. http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/753561 ).
One new note I'd add. The food seems to have gotten better lately. For a stretch, it seemed as if the menu had sorta stalled, but we recently stopped in for a beer on the walk home and noticed quite a few new offerings emerging from the kitchen. I wound up sitting in the front window, watching the late season visitors pass by, and devouring the best burger I've had in quite some time. Finished the trip to the house at a waddle pace.
"[W]hat do you think of Blend?"
Remington's is closed on Sundays?
Seriously though, we've had a couple decent meals there, but I think the food coming out of the kitchen at Remington's is a notch or two above right now. I'm not sure quite how to articulate it, other than saying that there's a "newerness" to its New American, and an element of plate over profit to taste.
Edit: I guess, I could put it another way. If you called and asked me to dinner at Blend, I'd be grateful. If you asked me to Remington's, I'd be excited and skip lunch to save room.
