Just returned from France and sampled many "terrine maison". Who is turning out the real deal in NYC?
The best "house-made" terrines and pates I've had in NYC are at Bar Boulud. I'm not a big fan of the restaurant in other regards, but their charcuterie is top notch.
The charcuterie (and sausages, terrines, etc)for all of Boloud's restaurants is made in house.
Marche du Sud - foie.
