Weekday Lunch - DC, Arlington, Alexandria

  • j

Any good recommendations lately on Weekday lunch spots? I'm open to any cuisine and price point is moderate.

Thanks!
Jodi

  1. The "lickety split" lunch at Restaurant Eve (Old Town) is a great meal and a great deal. The only downside is the seating is limited

Thanks Bart. I was going to do that one day but won't get there until about 12:30. It's just me so I'm hoping I can sit at the bar. I can wait a bit!

    2. Water and Wall on Wilson has a nice weekday lunch. Check this board for a review of a Chowhound group lunch from this past Friday.

      1. Liberty Tavern -- Arlington's Clarendon neighborhood
        Carlyle -- Arlington's Shirlington neighborhood

        1. Beer and Welding.

Get "The Ian" sandwich which is, generally speaking, pulled chicken with secret spicy sauce and potato chips.

Inside the Oasis Market, 2024 P St NW, Dupont Circle.

Did they move Dupont Circle to Alexandria? ;-)

From the title of the OP:

"Weekday Lunch - DC, Arlington, Alexandria"

Last I checked, Dupont Circle was part of DC, or was it annexed by like Baltimore or something?

D'oh! Apologies..........I totally missed the DC part.

but oddly enough, DC's Ward 2 just last week DID utilize an overlooked clause in 1847's Act of Retrocession...
