NoVA - ISO local source of Smithfield/country ham

All -

We're off to a biscuit and gravy fest with friends this weekend and I've volunteered to bring some Smithfield/VA country ham to the event. Can anyone suggest a good local source in NoVA - Arlington/FC/Alexandria. I recall there's a vendor at the Old Town Alexandria Farmer's Market that carries it but I think only whole ones and not slices.

Thanks for any suggestions.

  1. I used to see packaged slices at Giant (and, I think, Shoppers, so probably also Safeway) on the usual little wooden rack where they keep pepperoni and the like. Pick one and ask someone in the butcher department.

I saw them at Shoppers last weekend -- right in the area with pepperoni etc.
