Since summer is over (yes I'm bitter) what is your favorite.....

Sunday brunch spot?
I have a hard time stuffing myself on Summer Sundays, and besides that it isn't very becoming to a speedo body. (Prefer somewhere w/liquor and Union/Middlesex/Morris/Essex(good parts)maybe Somerset County.

My quick list is:
Mcloone's Boathouse-West Orange
Rod's-Convent Station/Morristwon
Boulevard 57-Kenilworth

  1. I love Rod's brunch. My other go to's in the area The Bernards Inn, though it is pricey (but worth it for what you get) The Black Horse Inn (Mendham)does a good brunch, as do Chez Catherine in Westfield, and A Toute Heure in Cranford. A little farther away Molly Pitcher Inn in Red Bank Amanda's in Hoboken and Elements in Princeton are all good bets. Don't bother with the Old Mill Inn in Basking Ridge, it is disappointing.

note, Elements has closed and will move to a new space above Mistral in Princeton - early 2015.

    2. Summer's not nearly over for those of us below the Driscoll. Thank you for your post.
