Reheating pasta or soup in a Breville convection oven?
Just purchased a Breville convection oven and we love it. It's exactly as advertised and we use it for nearly everything (minor). That said, we are trying to figure out the best way to reheat liquid-y items such as pasta, Indian food, soup. Any advice? My parter at work says 'fold aluminum foil into a bowl' but that seems very questionable. Thank you.
Put your food in an oven-safe dish (pyrex or ceramic ramekins), put in oven, and turn on so that the dish and food heat up slowly. Putting a cold dish into a hot oven may cause too much thermal shock and lead to cracked ceramic or exploding pyrex. Or you can use cast iron serving ware. There's lots of different sizes.
