Where to buy rice bran?

Has anyone come across rice bran in their travels? I know Bob's Red Mill produces it but I haven't found it in stock anywhere.

Also known as nuka in Japanese. For Japanese rice bran pickles (nukazuke).

  1. Are you open to buying from an Canadian online source? if so try here.

    or here

    I would also suggest trying

Rube's Rice shop at the st lawrence market and maybe even The Big Carrot on danforth

But i will keep an eye out in the stores for you.

I am open to online though at $11/200g + tax & shipping, I will definitely check out Rube's and Big Carrot first!

I'd forgotten about Rube's as I don't make it down there very often, great suggestion.

    2. For anyone who comes looking, I finally found some Bob's Red Mill at the new Bulk Barn downtown on Bloor.

Also it is available at the J-Town grocery.

      None at Rube's, unfortunately.
