Best burgers in LV? And other lunch recommendations in/near Paris (on strip)

Attending conference this week. Craving a realy really good burger. Will be at the Paris hotel/casino. Saw G Ramsey burger in Planet Hollywood. Line suggest it might be good, or it could just be the name. Would appreciate feedback on this restaurant (or other burger suggestions), as well as other lunch suggetions since im limited to this location (or close by) for these meals the rest of this week - Thurs thru Saturday. Feedback appreciated!

  1. Burger Bar by Hubert Keller or Holsteins seem to get the most consistently solid reviews for burgers amongst people in the know.

I'm a huge fan of Burger Bar. I think they make some of the best burgers.

    2. Really enjoyed Ramsay's BURGR at PH, got to taste truffle fries, wings, Farm Burger, and milkshake - all were great and the overall experience was very positive!

That being said, if we are judging on the basis of BURGER taste and quality only, I prefer Keller's at MB. I have had both grass fed and Kobe burgers at Burger Bar and would agree with Uhockey that it is an excellent choice.

Either way, I think you'll be pleased.

      1. Wonderful lunch right at your hotel....Mon Ami Gabi. Great service and excellent value....superb "people watching" also.

Agree on service and people watching (assuming you get a table outside, otherwise place goes down several notches), but will be Gawd awful hot outside for lunch and food is good...nothing more, nothing less.

Their country pate is excellent...and a legit presentation with a French bread, gherkins, mustard; the wine by the glass is also quite good and not a "Strip ripoff" as to pricing....also window seats are first-come, first-served and, IMO, better than sitting outside under the misters.

        2. I liked the BLT burger better than the one at Burger Bar. And their milkshakes are incredible.

And I much preferred both the burger and the milkshake at Burger Bar over BLT Burger. Also thought the service was more attentive and friendly at Burger Bar.

Our last trip to Burger Bar was a disaster. Both the fries and onion rings were frozen and the burgers were dry and overdone. Yes it was extremely busy that night but they should be better prepared for that. Grabbing from the freezer when things get rough is not acceptable.

I was underwhelmed with the burger at Burger Bar myself.

BLT Burger, OTOH, was excellent. I've only been once, and while my burger first came out medium & I had to send it back, the second one was cooked perfectly and was great. Fries were great, too.

The milkshake made a lasting impression on me...

            2. I realize that it's not very "foodie" of me to mention a fast food restaurant, but Fatburger, across the street from the Monte Carlo, makes one of the best burgers I've ever had. We stayed at the Cosmo a while back and ate at Hotsteins a couple of times. Holsteins makes a very good burger. But IMHO, Fatburger is better.
