Paid Food Testing Event - Downtown Oakland

  • 9

We are recruiting local consumers to participate in food taste testing the week of August 4th and August 11th (Mon-Fri)! We will be testing a variety of quinoa & veggie bowl concepts for a new restaurant concept.

This test involves participation in a 1 hour tasting & group discussion. You will be tasting 4-5 dishes and discussing what works and what doesn't for each of them. At the end of the group, you will receive a compensation for your time & thoughts ($15). Testing will take place in downtown Oakland (near the 12th St BART station).

If there is an age criteria (which there clearly is once you waste time filling out the form) you could save us all a lot of time by just saying so up front!

        Robert,

This is not spam. We are a real company doing real research.

You're using Chowhound to advertise your thing, which is contrary to the FAQ and falls into the "Spam" category of the site's Flag feature.

Topics like this have in the past always been removed promptly by the moderators, but moderation has been getting more lax.

This is permitted under CH's new policy to let "professional voices" post on the boards: http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/985121

Apparently we'll see a lot more of it.

            Does your product include olestra?

          1. Eventbrite says that Keenwawa's event has ended and is in the past.

I noticed that your spam posts across the Livermore, Pleasanton and Dublin Patch editions the last two months offered $30 per hour. But here you're offering participants in your Oakland testing only *$15* per hour. Why the hate for Oakland, what gives?!?

Finally, I think that the photos you've posted of Keenwawa's product are pretty gross. I will never, ever buy anything from Keenwawa. I don't patronize spammers.

            1. so for $15, after the cost of BART or parking, all you get is a free(?) meal and maybe a few bucks if you're clever.

even lab rats get their cages cleaned.
