How should I make Peanut Butter cookies?

I've never made these before and I have seen a recipe to make them without flour? I am making them to bring camping (I'm going to spread Nutella and place a toasted marshmallow in between two cookies.) should I go with a flour recipe or no flour recipe? Any great tips for making these?

  1. Flour recipe. The other is delicious but too delicate for that.

Thank you so much. I just found a recipe made with flour and has amazing reviews!

Can you share the recipe you found?

Always looking for new yummy peanut butter cookie recipes!

    2. I only make one peanut butter cookie, and it has no flour! 1 C PB, 1 C sugar, 1 egg, that't it! (You can have 2 and 2 and 2, as well). So delicious!!! Bake at 350 for 12 minutes or so, the bottoms should be a dark golden brown.

Can this be made with natural peanut butter?

I'm sure it can. I've made it with creamy, chunky, brown sugar, white sugar…It always turns out slightly different, but always great. I would say, if you use natural PB, just make sure it's stirred really well. You also might need to adjust your cooking times.

      2. The no-flour recipe is much more intensely flavored--no flour to interfere. They also stay fresher much longer than the version with flour. The flourless ones are pretty sturdy but agree that they are more fragile than ones with flour.

        1. I wanted to let you guys know I made the recipe of the photo I posted above, bake for 10 mins, and they were amazing! They were soft but still strong enough to use as s'mores. People gobbled them up. They were a huge hit and I couldn't believe I had made them!
