Korean Snacks in TO

  • 2

On my last trips to Korean I've been introduced to a fantastic unusual after work snack of dried salted fish dipped in searing hot sauce - honest. They are fantastic.

They are also available in a snack mix of dried fish and slivered almonds. Made by Blue Diamond Growers and called "Calmonds". I haven't been able to find them anywhere or online.

Any Korean friends out there able to help out ?

  1. Get the shots on your phone and start at PAT and take it from there. Had some around New Years and have been jonesing for some since. Let's us know. PS--You still owe me for the Ferri's tip for apple juice for cider...

      Ha ha,

      I definitely haven't forgotten K !!

In fact we were enjoying a glass (or few) of Apfelwein along with a small plate of Handkäse mit Musik and some excellent buttered rye bread on the back patio this weekend. As good as ANY Gastehaus in Hessen !! (Although I do miss the patios at Gaststätte Blockhaus and Zum Paradies).

We have to set up a meet !
