Trader Joe's fermented black garlic

What have you used it in?

  1. I like it as a spread. It tastes great with bone marrow.

    I'd try a BLT with the black garlic.

    1. There have been many threads about black garlic (the source is irrelevant).

      I used the TJ stuff in making beef gravy but found the result to be about what I'd get using roasted or slow-sauteed garlic and some reconstituted dried mushrooms. I think I have another packet somewhere - you remind me to hunt for it and use it up if it's not too late.
