The Price Of Beer All Over The World

Interesting newish (and hopefully not redundant) article about pricing and consumption. Found the pricing bit most intriguing. We were in NH, and over the weekend ate at a restaurant that had beer priced from $2.00 domestic drafts to $8.50 I guess it's a bit of a moving target.

The Price Of Beer All Over The World

Australia, Ireland and Finland are big spenders, while the Ukraine, Bulgaria and Panama fork out the least for the amber ale.

  1. Would be even more interesting if you are able to back out the tax portion of the pint of beer.

    1. Yes I'd heard $2 for (roughly) a pint is about normal for Pilsner Urquel in the Czech Republic. Blows the mind considering how good fresh PU is... And that comparable beers are often as cheap as a dollar! Whats really funny is everyone complains there because they say the price has gone up so much recently.
