proverbial critique my barcelona list (and begur)

new york chowhound stalking your board for the last few weeks trying to make sense of your amazing food town.

ill be coming to barcelona for 4 nights in early/mid september and have made a few reservations. im trying to avoid the typical tourist spots as much as possible while still eating at some great places.

price point is on the low/mid side. i dont really have the interest in 300 euro+ dinners. i also want to have dinner/food plans without it consuming my ability to appreciate this city.

lastly, we're going to be in begur for a few nights prior to barcelona. if you have any opinion on those recs, i would be appreciative.

sun night: glass of wine at vinya del senyor, some tapas at vaso de oro and dinner at suculent

mon: wine at montvinic, dinner at hisop

tue: tickets for dinner...maybe pubilla for lunch

wed: bar canete for dinner...maybe gresca for lunch

in begur:

dinners at sa rascassa, toc al mar, nu restaurant in girona, bocca in regencos.

any places i should swap in or out would be appreciated...as well as some great lunch spots with great deals. is moments the best high end lunch deal in the city?

  1. Will Tickets have re-opened by then and, if so, I assume you already have your res? Loved it so much.

    Also recommend Paco Meralgo.

    1. I loved Canete. I also was happy at Paco M. Also, Shunka was delicious.
