Does anyone remember a 70's recipe for veal scallopine that had green pepper strips, sherry and heinz chili sauce?

It started with a ton of butter and oil, and the veal (or chicken) was dredged in flour. Sounds terrible but I loved it as a kid....

    I put your ingredient memories into allrecipes, and this is what I found. I imagine you could sub part of the tomato for chili sauce and as cgarner notes, it is described as sweet.


    was it on the sweet side? It sounds like something my mom used to make that was kind of sweet
