Driving [Niagara Falls, NY to Lake George]

  • 5

We'll be driving from Niagara Falls, NY to Lake George. Any chow worthy take out, pizza, markets, etc? In Lake George, we'll most likely be staying in the area one night, we're OK with cheap and cheerful and even better is take out. Of course, a libation with a view on the Lake would be nice.

  1. Which lake? You'll pass quite a few.

A standard recommendation is Dinosaur Barbecue in Syracuse. The Syracuse location is always busy, so a late lunch is highly recommended, unless you're there for an early dinner. There's also a branch in Troy.

There's also Elderberry Pond between Auburn and Skaneateles.

I don't know how your tastes lie, but here are two opposites.
