Dear Chowhound...

I LOVE the Photo Story option. Just tried it for the first time. Perfect.

  1. I just discovered L.Nightshade's post on Home Cooking (about her spectacular home-cooked wedding meal), and this post option is very well used. See for yourselves: http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/984000

Thanks for the link, Caitlin. And, Linda, belated best wishes.

What YOU did with that new format was fantastic and I get it totally which I hadn't before. There was an example of every excruciating step of making Hazan's Bolognes lasanga. But yours, in one fell stroke, has changed my mind. Thanks.

        Thanks, to both of you!
(I kind of want to give you both a heart here, but I know there is some conflict about that!)

I'm using it temporarily, hoping that it will be change, in order to not clutter up the post unnecessarily...at this time. But I'll stop if the end result is a heart.

Even if the heart goes away, I will always heart you.

    2. I bitched enough about the Q&A format that I feel obligated to mention it when I think Chowhound got something right: the photo story option really is a great addition to the site.

I just posted a review of a kitchen knife made by one of our very own, and the photo story was perfect.

As a minor suggestion, I would like the option to control where the main body of text goes in the story. It would be cool to be able to place one photo at the top of the story, for example.
