  1. Yes. Definitely worth checking out. The scallop & sweetbread dish pictured was fantastic. Both cooked perfectly and the purple cauliflower & licor 43 lemongrass beurre blanc elevated it to a home run dish. I didn't need the cotton candy.

Also pictured is a Nori Macaron, pickled mung bean, avocado mousse, smoked pastrami hamachi, white soy foam & leek ash.

Bourbon infused quail egg, truffle caviar, fat cap powder, chorizo, fleur de sel

A5 BMS 12 Miyazaki Strip Loin Sashimi, white asparagus mousse, imperial osetra, pickled gooseberry, shimeji, blueberry, chambord, ramp oil

Refreshing to see a chef swinging for the fences. And connecting.

    Great space too.

*they just started offering a ten course tasting menu on Friday nights which is probably a great way to play.

Thanks Chowfather...The food looks beautiful and sounds delicious!

    2. The Friday gastronomic menu sounds amazing, but if you want to "try before you buy" at that $180 level, remember that Shikany is participating in miami spice this year ($39) starting in a few days.

I saw another deal today on Gilt (http://www.giltcity.com/miami/shikany...):
$120 for 5-course dinner for 2. See picture.
