Brooklyn bridal shower

I am making a bridal shower for a friend; generally speaking, is it more cost-efficient to use a drop off catering service or a party is a restaurant? We are expecting about 15 people and want to do a breads, salads, soups menu... Any recommendations for a restaurant with a party room? As for catering, i have contacted this place:

I used bunch-o-bagels for my last son's bris. They did a nice job on the fruit and pastry trays and were relatively affordable. If you are looking for light refreshments where you provide the labor for setting/cleaning up then something like this is likely to be the less expensive option. There are shuls and other organizations that will rent a room for a small party pretty inexpensively if you don't have room to host it yourself.

On the other hand, if you are looking for a sit down dinner with someone else providing the waiters and cleanup then a restaurant is definitely the way to go.

Affordability is key. We are hosting for 15 - 20 people between two of us, and we dont want to spend a fortune. Are there any other catering places we should be aware of that do a nice job?

The catering platters from Bagels N Greens are great. They have a more interesting, sophisticated menu of options than most basic bagel places, plus beautiful presentation.!basket...
