Bagel/Coffee shop in Monsey?

  • 2

I'm planning to bike from NYC to Monsey. I'd like to pick up a light lunch before riding back to the city. A bagel, muffin, or panini would be great. The place doesn't need to be fancy, and given that I'll be showing up sweaty and in shorts it's probably better if it's not too fancy, just good food. I'd love any suggestions you have.

Thanks.

  1. Purple Pear (intersection of Route 59 and 306) is a classic dairy cafe with baked good, paninis, pastas, that kind of thing. Nothing wildly creative but yummy and reasonably priced, plus some really delicious Starbucks style drinks. There is also a bagel place called Bagels D'Lox on Route 59. I don't think it would be a problem to walk into either of those places in bike gear.

    1. yoffee coffee is brand new- never been but heard its very good. purple pear is, in my opinion, vastly overpriced.
