A little knowledge is a dangerous thing
Freuman mostly limits her evaluation to the benefits of specific foods, but the idea of taking isolated facts (do kids still say factoids these days?) and taking them too far seems more and more prevalent in food circles. For instance the recent CH thread about how "margarine" is bad with little notice that what is sold as margarine, or butter-substitute, is different now than it was 20 years ago.
