SPAGO BEVERLY HILLS - BAR MENU

Kind of hate to give up the secret, but there are two tables that are considered part of the bar, but are actually adjacent to the patio at Spago Beverly Hills. Advantage is that they are two of the nicer tables in the house and you can order off both the regular and the bar menu. The bar menu includes pizzas, really good short rib bao and several other smaller plate choices. Really reasonable prices for Spago (except for the spicy tuna tartare cones which are two tiny cones for $16 - a rip off). Drinks are small and over priced too, but the bar menu pricing makes up for it. Fun way to do Spago without breaking the bank.

    1. As an aside, I really like this reincarnation of Spago.

      Spago 2.0, if you will.

Its better than the last, but the first was iconic.

You may be right, but I was probably too young and too much of a culinary neophyte to appreciate the iconic Spago (circa WeHo).

Although some of the working girls from Mastores and Peninsula seemed to be at the bar.

                hmmm….

                sounds tasty.

Thor, what do you mean by working girls ??????? the secretaries unwinding after work ??????????

The female wait-staff from those other establishments of course. What did you think?

                  1. re: Thor123

I thought it was the administrative assistants that unwind usually at Mastros and the other joint sometimes hit up Spago too after working at the corporations/offices in the golden triangle.
