Chick-fil-A to Pasadena

The BK next to PCC has been leveled and a C-f-A is on the way. Hmmm?

  1. They also bought (and leveled) the former Denny's at Mesmer and Jefferson and the new C-f-A is under construction. Can you imagine how long a process like that would take in Santa Monica? One eon, or two?

Starbucks must have a time machine for SM. Their builds seem pretty quick.

    2. the pasadena BK on rosemead also shut down a few years back. you'd think a fast food place next to PCC would thrive, but apparently pasadena isn't a BK type of city. whatever that means. south of the 210 anyway.

      1. I hear they're also opening outlets in WeHo, the Castro in SF, and Provincetown. (not)

I was already shocked enough by the location on Westwood and Le Conte....

Can't imagine the shock of the westwood site.
That BK was without question one of the filthiest fast food places I have ever been in.
Yes, the homeless were there all the time, but it seemed like the BK owner never cared about its appearance, fragrance, etc. If it was a company store, shame on BK Corp.

Well, there's on win Hollywood, not that far from WeHo......

          3. This is actually a pretty smart move on their part; their new-ish location in Azusa is doing crazy business mostly because it's right across the street from APU.

Most of their earlier LA locations seemed to be in car-dependent shopping sprawls; they seem to have finally clued in to the pedestrian college kid business opportunity.

One of their first LA locations is next to USC.

            2. Seems like a good fit to me.... Decent food at fast food prices that students could afford. I actually like their chicken sandwich, better than most fast food versions.
