Royal Lytham & St. Anne's Golf Club
Has anyone stayed in the Dormy House there or had the dinner in the clubhouse that is included in the room rate? Trying to decide whether to eat dinner there or opt out and choose a restaurant in Lytham. We are only there for one night. The food quality is important, but so is the experience from a golfers perspective.
I have not stayed there myself (although I played the course in 1985!), but I have heard from people who have that the Dormy House there is quite comfortable. I can't comment on the food. I would certainly try the dinner there. Royal Lytham is a rather prestigious club. I would be surprised if their food service is 2nd rate.
