Just bought a Zojirushi indoor electric grill ...
Help get me started .. have you used a grill like this? Recipe for teriyaki steak or grilled prawns? Should I try chicken satay?
Well, I used it for the first time yesterday. I'd salted eggplant slices, paper towels in between; didn't have time to cook that day so put everything in fridge. Next day, I didn't bother washing off salt, just brushed on some olive oil and did on the grill on high. Took a while but I like how it came out; now I see on Amazon there's another model, more expensive with 1500 watts instead of 1300 so maybe that one cooks faster?
I made eggplant parm and it did not come out salty (I tried a grilled slice plain to see if I needed to try washing off salt first).
