Eating between Piazza del Popolo and Piazza di Spagna in Roma

Staying on Via Del Babuino late September from Saturday to Tuesday. Have been to Rome many times and traveled to great restaurants all over the city. This time we want to dine within a 10 minute walking distance of Hotel Piranesi. We are interested in Italian food with emphasis on pasta and fish or shellfish--not meat. Any price and perhaps a hidden gem you may know about. Also wine bars or great pizza. Grazie.

  1. Not too far away is Localino Da Claudio. It's up on Via Lazio 22, Just off Via Veneto. I think there is a short cut if you enter the Metro, and take the escalator up to the top of Via Veneto.

Other good restaurants nearby are Nino (although that is probably not the best for fish); All'Oro (high end, creative); Pizzeria Leoncino (very simple, just off San Lorenzo in Lucina).

A lot of people like Babettes, although I am not a big fan.

Drinks: I like the Russie, although it's pricey.
