ROCHAS in TO and RECIPE

  • 0

Hi foodies.
I just got back from Portugal and thus far, I've only had one thing on my mind: to make my own ROCHAS ('rock' in English).

These pastries are MAMMOTH MOUNDS of goodness and can replace an entry level kettle bell. Essentially, the texture is akin to Christmas fruitcake but airier and crumblier. The batter is mixed with assorted dried fruits but predominantly maraschino cherries and raisins.

I've checked online and to my surprise I've finally virtually nothing about ROCHAS. Please. does anyone's grandma have a RECIPE to share?

The Bulk Barn is calling me....

Obrigado in advance!
