Boneless wing ideas

Any ideas for sauces for tossing frozen popcorn chicken as a quick imitation of boneless wings? Please, no HOT sauces, we don't eat hot.

  1. Honey mustard
    Lemon pepper
    Garlic and parmesan
    Peanut sauce

    1. Mae Ploy Thai chili-garlic sauce. Not spicy at all. A mixture of mayo, sweetened condensed milk, and lemon juice ala Honey Walnut Prawn sauce. Your favorite BBQ sauce.

      1. You could make your own pepper sauce, just use mild peppers instead of hot ones. That way they will look like traditional buffalo wings, but won't have all the heat.

Pressure cook the peppers in some cider vinnegar along with a few cloves of garlic for a few minutes. Then pour it all into a blender, and blend it. Lastly, run the sauce through a metal strainer to remove the skin and seeds.

Then just mix the sauce with some melted butter and toss your chicken in it.

There are also a number of recipes for sweet & sour sauces too - such as mixing apricot preserves with some spicy brown mustard and a little garlic powder.
