Pazzo Chow - new Italian resto in Chinatown

Maya Sciarretta’s Pazzo Chow is a itty-bitty thing, the size of an apartment kitchen. She infuses it with personality and serves the kind of food inspired by an Italian grandmother. Make that her Italian grandmother.
“It’s kind of long-winded,” she says, in explaining the name of her Italian deli.
Translated, ‘pazzo’ means crazy in Italian but, she says, not in a negative way. “It’s in a British way when you’re bonkers, outside the norm. It best describes my really casual food. The place is like a kitchen and you know how people hang out in kitchens.”
