Driving NYC-> VA Beach. Stop for lunch between Wilmington and Ocean City?

We are driving down to VA beach next month on a Saturday and looking to break up the journey with a stop roughly halfway for Lunch. We are planning on driving I95s and 13 or 113.

Anywhere reasonably decent to stop? We will have our 4 year old with us.

You are wise to avoid Rt One near the beaches on Saturday in Summer but it does limit your choices for a decent meal. In downtown Milford is Abbott's Grill or the Georgia House. In Georgetown right on Rt 113 is the Pizza Palace which has decent Greek-style diner food, or my fave would be Po Boys Cajun in Milton but its a little off your route.

Thanks. If I take 13 is there a different lunch option you'd recommend?

      2. If you are in the mood for seafood, Woody's Crab House is a nice spot with good food: http://www.woodyscrabhouse.com/. Located off I-95 exit 100 in North East, MD, cute little town. Indoor and outdoor seating and people bring their children their kids all the time.

        1. On 13 in New Castle right near the Airport is Arners. It looks like a Diner but has upscale menu. We have never been disappointed. It is right at the junction of 13 & 141 at the overpass of 141. Excellent food, and nice salad bar. Great breads on the salad bar.

Metompkin Seafood on 113 in Mappsville will be my lunch stop when I drive south from NYC next winter.
